Check out what I've got and you'll see how it works.
(All "do it yourself" prices are approximate)

Pottery Barn Wreath - $49
This is an easy one. Go to your local craft store and pick up a straw or foam wreath. Grab a few bags of moss and attach it to the wreath. Looks as good if not better than the "real thing".
Your price - $10-15

Pottery Barn Coat Rack - $99
Love this coat rack and you can have something very close for a quarter of the price. Grab a piece of wood from your local hardware store (have them cut it for you), get your black spray paint out and then some matte/clear finish. You can experiment with different paints and finishes to get the same "iron" look. Hobby Lobby has some great hooks for $2.99 each (they have them 1/2 off this week as well). Attache to the wood and hang. Sit back and enjoy.
Your price - $14-30

Restoration Hardware Subway Art - $495
Scared by the price tag on this one? Me too, that's why I really want to give this one a try.
There are a few ways to do this one. I think I'm going to buy some heavy black poster board/matting board and then print out the letters from my computer. After laying them out on the paper, I will then trace them on and fill in the letters with white paint. Matte with white matte (you can also do this yourself with a nice razor blade). Frame with your choice of frame and take a deep breathe of satisfaction.
Your price - $20-50
Now your turn. Link up and show me something that you have seen and copied. Be sure to link back to here so that others can enjoy more idea's!
