Hannah's monthly photo

Hannah turned 8 months old on Friday and she was clearly excited about it :)

We see more of her personality each day and I think this photo captures it - she's lively, playful and loves to laugh. She's started babbling with a cadence that mimics conversation (lots of da-da-das, but every time I ask her to say ma-ma-ma she just smiles). Those four teeth she was working on came through, so now she has six (four on top and two on bottom).

Hannah's become an expert at feeding herself Cheerios and she loves music: she stops everything when a good song comes on. She's dangerously close to crawling; she mastered dragging herself across the floor legless-torso style, but recently started getting her legs in on the action. Lots of rocking back and forth on her hands and knees and holding herself up in a plank position. Oh, and did I mention that she's sleeping through the night?! I don't want to jinx anything, but it's been heaven (thank you, sleep training!). Naps are a different story, but she's happy throughout the day, so we're not worrying about it. Only 6 weeks of maternity leave left, so I'm trying to enjoy every last moment at home!
