Yeeeess, I do have pictures. Did I load them or edit them yet? Nope. I'm tired. Really tired. 5:50AM came waaaaay earlier than normal. Or maybe it was the same time as it always comes but I'm not normally awake to greet it.
I got bad news. Today was not good.
Not good at all. We had lots of lovely people stop by and say how cute and great our booth was, but.... hardly any buyers at all. I'm sad and a little depressed about it, but hope things will be better tomorrow. People that have been doing booths there for years said that this was the slowest they had ever seen it.
Great. I guess the recession is not just a myth. Keep your fingers crossed for us. I may just be doing a sale right out of my house or off my blog. Any of you close to DFW, let me know if you would be interested! (or if you know of a place nearby that would be better for our style of stuff)
On a side note. The lovely white wreath you all saw below is made out of
coffee filters!!! It was so easy and so cheap! I will be doing a tutorial next week for those that want to know the exact details. I promise this is so easy your husband could do it;-)
Thanks for all the sweet comments about my stuff! I wish all of
you all could come tomorrow!!!
Don't want to overwhelm you all with all the stuff I've been doing (ok, so I don't have pictures of all of it. Big deal!:-) so I thought I would show you the chair I did this week.
I picked this one up at Goodwill for a few bucks and got right to work.

It was painted brown with wheels on the bottom. I tried painting the wheels, then decided that they didn't match the style.

Sprayed on a little primer, then some Heirloom White. Got my handy little sander out and went to town. I also used a little bit of glaze around the back of the chair. (this was my first time with glazing. Love it!)

Then it was time for the seat. Never recovered anything before so this was also a new one for me. It was....interesting. I used a drop cloth to do the job and liked how it turned out...
except for one thing. It was dull and plain jane. So I whipped up a little acrylic paint and slapped on some painters tape to add some lines. Decided to add "1870" just for kicks and was really happy with it in the end.

I so badly want to keep this one for myself, but I just can't. I'll find another someday.... some far off day.
I'll be back for more in a few days. Antique Alley starts this Friday so I got ta keep on truck'n! I can't wait to see all of you that have mentioned that you'll be there. It will be fun! (bring a moving van:-)

Well sometimes I do make good on my promises. Only running a week behind schedule, but I do have that promised giveaway. So Michelle from the

Doodle your day away kids! Take as loooong as you want eat'n those brussel sprouts and cabbage! (seriously? You don't make them eat that do you?)Didn't she do such a cool thing?
